EuMGA, with generous support from our sponsors, launched the “A Voice for MG” campaign, which features the voices of individuals sharing about life with Myasthenia Gravis from people diagnosed with MG, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and individuals impacted by MG. The campaign included social media posts and even a video podcast featuring guests across Europe.

This campaign also came to life in the recent printing of the MG & Work booklet, which provides advice and support for those living with MG and navigating the workplace. The booklet was distributed during the second EuMG Summit in Paris.

The booklet covers key topics such as:

  • Your Diagnosis
  • How and When to Talk About Your Diagnosis of MG
  • Adapting to Life with MG
  • Challenges and How to Overcome Them

“For most people the term ‘Myasthenia Gravis’ is either completely unknown or may evoke specific images that don’t necessarily align with how you see yourself or your future needs. It can therefore be helpful to explain the implications of your condition for you personally.” -The “MG & Work” Booklet

This resource was made by those impacted by MG for those impacted by MG, making every page intentional and personal. It also incorporates messages and words of encouragement from people living with MG throughout Europe, which highlights the importance of community and also works as a reminder that, while MG is a rare disease, you aren’t alone.

This booklet is a tangible example of our dedication to providing information, support, and resources to those affected by Myasthenia Gravis across Europe and beyond. You can access and download the booklet in PDF format below.
